The outside diameter of this deluxe porthole is 8" and the visible diameter of the mirror is 5".
There are three mounting holes for you to secure it in the location of your choice. One behind the hinge and one behind each of the dogs - so they are hidden once mounted. The three required screws are not included with the porthole.
