Solid Brass Anchor Oil Burning Lantern With An Antique Finish.

This  beautiful heavy Brass Anchor Lantern is a replica of a 19th Century relic. Although this lantern is not an antique, it has a superb look and is a hard to find piece.  The picture really does not do any justice to such a fine work of art. The Anchor Lamp Stands 21" tall including the handle (as shown), and 17½" tall with the handle folded down. It is about 11½" wide. It features a hand made lens that distributes a 360* light and heavy cast handles and a thick gauged brass. The oil burning pot and wick unit are serviced from the bottom of the lantern and can be converted into an electric fixture with great ease. There is plenty of room inside for a full size light bulb after conversion. Some the applications that our Anchor lamps have been used for include, ships wheel chandeliers, exterior lighting on property, ceiling fixtures, end table lamps and also make a perfect patio/deck oil burning lantern. The lamp is very sturdy and weighs nearly 8lbs.
